First visit and I was pleased with service (Wendy),:the meal ( angel hair pasta with a tomato based sauce & mushrooms, parmesan on top)) & the manager ( Marquis). Icing on the cake- no pun intended- was the Italian cream cake, made in house. It's a true delight; especially when heated for about 20 sec:). I planned to eat a few bites & bring the rest home, but that didn't happen. I couldn't put the fork down. Looking forward to my next visit; which will probably be very soon. And I've spread the word to my family. A gem find in Durham. .
I am so surprised I haven't added a review yet since we frequent Bennett Pointe Grill. It is a local favorite, and they have a room that can be reserved for dinner parties. We have had many family events in that room. The food is always good and the drinks are reasonably priced. My favorite burger is the one with the pimento cheese, which is also great. I haven't had anything bad there. My favorite dish is the shrimp and grits. It's one of the few places they take the tails off the shrimp! The flavor is so good a d this salt a holic doesn't have to add salt. The deserts are made for them special by a local lady and they make amazing Key Lime pie in-house. Definitely get by there for a fabulous dinner.
BP Grill is a great casual place to meet and eat. The food is always consistently good. The menu has a neat variety.
First time here with my family as my husband suggested this restaurant since he works down the street. Let me first say that I absolutely love the menu that reminds me of a newspaper.I had the crocodile cooler and pasta carbanora with side salad. My daughter and husband both had the burger with fries. Everything was great including our server Jennifer. I will definitely be back
I eat here regularly and the food is fabulous. They have the BEST fettuccine Alfredo I have ever had. The pasta San Remo is also delicious. The crab cake sandwich, sweet potato fries and their house salad are all great too. I’ve never had a bad meal there. The staff at the front are nice and accommodating. You really can’t go wrong eating here.
They have a special on Wednesday that’s hard to beat ... Spaghetti w/Meat Sauce, a House Salad, and rolls. It’s absolutely delicious every time. Tonight, I had water, so my meal was a grand total of 12.85. So pleased ... and stuffed. Bennett Pointe Grill has been in Durham for many years, so they have many faithful customers. It was pretty busy, and most people had ordered the Spaghetti. They have great options. I love their burger too. Try it if you’ve never been there. You won’t be disappointed. They open for dinner at 4:30!
In a strip mall but feels like a tavern! Service was friendly, we enjoyed our drinks and our food. We had the chicken entree and the salmon entree. I thought the salmon was a bit small but it was tasty. Service was quick and you get some tasty dinner rolls! Check them out, it’s worth a try!!
It is my favorite Friday restaurant. I like to eat sea food on Friday and you can’t find a place with fresh and delicious seafood with affordable prices like this. Never disappointed and if you chose to go at dinner time, I don’t think that you will go wrong with the fish special of the night. Love the crab cakes sandwich. And yesss there is a lot of white elderly people there and I love it because it means wise people eating real and delicious food not just fast food in somewhere. It Feels like welcoming people
